πŸ“Œ Title: Design Revisions for Treasury Module

Task Description

Today was my twentieth day of internship and also the last day of October. I was contacted by the IT/PD team regarding several updates to the Treasure module of the iFastPay back office project. The changes included removing all spending ranges, updating certain wordings, adding a “Reset All” button for better usability, and clarifying that the debiting sequence follows a maker-checker process. I also provided my opinion on a design decision regarding whether to separate a particular section into two tabs within the same page instead of compiling everything into a single page. Additionally, I worked on adding tooltips for certain technical jargons, such as BPS, to improve clarity for users.

Challenges & Solutions

A challenge was adapting to multiple requirement changes while ensuring the design remained clear and user-friendly. To address this, I reviewed each update carefully, discussed the implications with the IT/PD team, and adjusted the design accordingly. Adding tooltips helped resolve potential user confusion without overcrowding the interface.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I learned that clear communication and collaborative brainstorming are crucial when working with cross-functional teams. This experience also showed me that design changes throughout a project are normal, especially when requirements evolve, and flexibility is an important skill for a designer.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 20 reinforced the importance of being adaptable and open to feedback in a real-world project environment. Moving forward, I will continue refining the Treasure module designs based on updated requirements and remain proactive in discussions to ensure design decisions support both usability and technical needs.
