Day 22: Reviewing IGB UAT UI for Web Mockup Alignment

πŸ“Œ Title: Reviewing iGB UAT UI for web mockup alignment

Task Description

I asked my supervisor for access to the IGB UAT website account so I could review the current web UI. This is necessary to understand what elements should be retained and what can be updated based on the mobile mockups I have already created. Being able to compare both versions helps me ensure consistency and improve the overall user experience. I’m enjoying the process and feel motivated by the work I’m doing.

Challenges & Solutions

A challenge was not being able to view the current UI without the UAT access, which made it difficult to know which parts needed to remain unchanged. Once access is granted, I can review the interface more accurately and plan the web mockup changes more effectively.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I learned the importance of having access to existing systems to create better design alignments. This experience also reinforced my interest and passion for UI design, as I felt more engaged and confident while working on the task.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 21 highlighted the value of direct exposure to live UI systems for design decision-making. Moving forward, I will review the UAT UI and start aligning the web mockups with the existing interface while maintaining consistency with the mobile design.
