📌 Title: Policy Cash Drawdown & Preparation for Cash ISA Project 

Task Description

Today was my thirty-first day of internship (17 Nov). My workload has eased as I have completed most of my assigned tasks. My supervisor assigned me a new task called Policy Cash Drawdown, where he had already completed the web version and I needed to create the mobile version. I referred to other mobile screens he created, brainstormed the layout, and managed to complete the mobile mockup today while waiting for the Cash ISA project to begin. 

The IT team mentioned they hope I can produce a draft for the Cash ISA project by the end of this week. I felt a bit surprised by the tight timeline, but I am confident I can complete it on time because I work well under pressure.

Challenges & Solutions

The main challenge was the limited time available for the upcoming Cash ISA project. To prepare, I started organizing my thoughts and planning the layout early, and I completed the Policy Cash Drawdown task efficiently so I can focus on the next project.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I learned how to quickly adapt to new tasks and how to work efficiently when timelines are tight. I also gained more confidence in managing my workload and delivering quality work under pressure.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 31 showed me the importance of being proactive and staying prepared for new projects. Moving forward, I will begin drafting the Cash ISA project and manage my time carefully to meet the deadline.

Day 6: Monday Chaos!

🗓️  Date:  13  Oct 2025 📌 Title:  Monday Chaos! Task Description In my second week of internship, I continued working on the  Fixed Deposit (FD)  and  Notice Deposit (ND)  UI enhancement project. My supervisor had provided several  comments and suggestions  based on last week’s progress, so my main task was to  review, refine, and amend the designs accordingly . The goal was to improve layout consistency, alignment, and overall visual clarity to ensure a more polished and user-friendly interface. Day 41: Brainstorming and Braincracking

  🗓️  Date:  29 Nov  2025 📌 Title:  Brainstorming and Braincracking Task Description I started the day by discussing the recent Cash ISA meeting outcomes with another IT team member who was on leave, updating him on the latest requirement changes. Following that, I brainstormed together with him and my SV on the new flow for Cash ISA Transfer-In, now that partial transfers also need to be supported. Initially, I was expecting Joanna to send over the updated flow for this change, but since it hadn’t come through, we decided not to wait and risk delaying the project timeline. Instead, we proactively moved forward by coming up with a proposed new flow ourselves. Given the uncertainty, we chose to create a wireframe in FigJam rather than jumping straight into high-fidelity mockups, as we wanted to avoid double work if changes were still needed.
