Day 46: It's getting pretty hectic guys-

πŸ“Œ Title: It's getting pretty hectic guys-

Task Description

Day 46 was focused on wrapping things up and aligning with stakeholders. I scheduled a meeting with the IT team for the Cash ISA project, as all amendments discussed last week needed to be completed by 3 PM. I managed to finish the required updates on time and walked IT through the changes during the meeting.

In parallel, the MY Stock IPO project was progressing well, but I still had a few uncertainties around the flow and logic. I raised these questions with my SV and gained a clearer understanding of the user journey and business intent. This was especially important as I’ll need to present the mockups to stakeholders next week, and fully understanding the product is crucial to confidently explain design decisions.

The meeting with IT went smoothly and efficiently. During the session, I also learned something new, how to generate and share developer links in Figma. My SV showed me how different mockup links can be created for different purposes, which will be useful for future collaboration with developers and stakeholders.

Challenges & Solutions

The main challenge was working against a tight deadline while preparing for an IT discussion. Staying focused and prioritising critical amendments helped me meet the 3 PM target. For the IPO project, proactively asking questions ensured gaps in understanding were addressed early rather than later.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I gained better clarity on the MY Stock IPO flow, strengthening my ability to present and defend the design. I also picked up a practical skill in Figma link sharing, understanding how different link types support different collaboration needs.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 46 felt more grounded and rewarding after several intense days. Closing off Cash ISA amendments and clearing doubts on the IPO project gave me more confidence moving into next week’s stakeholder discussions. Next steps will be to prepare talking points and anticipate questions for upcoming presentations.
