Task Description

A new campaign, Golden Ticket 2.0, was introduced as a follow-up to the original Golden Ticket. The concept is that the more referrals a user makes, the closer they get to queueing for beta access to the “Scan and Pay by Alipay” feature. I joined a meeting about this campaign, and at 5 PM, the Digital Marketing Manager briefed us on the project’s details and objectives.

Challenges & Solutions

The main challenge was getting fully up to speed on the campaign logic, and how it translates into user experience, especially since it's a marketing driven feature with specific goals. 

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I learned how referral campaigns are structured and how incentives can be used to drive user behaviour. I also improved my ability to quickly understand and translate marketing requirements into UX designs.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 56 was a deep-dive day, building understanding and momentum for Golden Ticket 2.0. Next steps will be to start drafting the mockups and flow diagrams, then align with the marketing team for feedback.
