Day 62: New Office, New Year

πŸ—“️ Date: 2 Jan 2026

πŸ“Œ Title: New Office, New Year

Task Description

Day 62 marked a fresh start with a new office move. New year, new space, but the same work momentum.

I completed the first draft of the Scan & Pay campaign mockups and sent it to the Marketing Manager for review. Later, I continued working on the Business Banking web revamp, focusing on aligning the design with the current brand style, while also introducing new visual elements to improve the interface. The challenge was balancing consistency with innovation, keeping the existing look and feel while refreshing the experience.

It was also my fellow intern’s last day, but unfortunately I was feeling sick and couldn’t fully show my usual enthusiasm or properly celebrate her farewell.

Challenges & Solutions

The main challenge was balancing creative work with being under the weather. Despite not feeling well, I still pushed through and delivered the first draft for Scan & Pay, which was important for meeting the project timeline.

Another challenge was maintaining a balance between existing brand style and new design direction for the web revamp. I tried to stay aligned with the current system while introducing fresh improvements.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I learned how to stay productive even when not at 100% health, and how to push through to deliver important milestones. I also gained experience in creating a first draft for a marketing campaign and balancing brand consistency with innovation in design.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 62 felt like a fresh restart, new office and new momentum. Next steps include waiting for feedback on the Scan & Pay draft and continuing to refine the Business Banking Web revamp direction based on stakeholders expectations.
