📌 Title: From Feedback to Fine-Tuning

Task Description

Today was my eighth day of internship. I submitted the report duty form to my HR, which required the company’s official chop and signature. In addition, I continued working on the “Make MCCA Your Main Account” project. This task involved designing and refining the flow where users can click “Share account details via email”, which automatically sends a pre-filled email template to the user’s HR. My focus was on ensuring the email content and layout were clear, professional, and aligned with real-world usage.

Challenges & Solutions

One of the main challenges was finding an existing Apple Mail–style email template that closely matched the actual default email layout. It was difficult to replicate the exact structure and visual appearance while still keeping the design consistent with the product’s UI standards. To address this, I reviewed existing email templates, studied Apple Mail formatting carefully, and adjusted spacing, typography, and layout details to achieve the closest possible match.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

Through this task, I gained a better understanding of how system email templates are designed and how important realism is when creating UI flows that interact with external platforms. I also learned to pay closer attention to small details, such as formatting and content hierarchy, to improve the overall user experience.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 8 emphasized the importance of accuracy and usability when designing features that involve external communication, such as emails.

Day 6: Monday Chaos!

🗓️  Date:  13  Oct 2025 📌 Title:  Monday Chaos! Task Description In my second week of internship, I continued working on the  Fixed Deposit (FD)  and  Notice Deposit (ND)  UI enhancement project. My supervisor had provided several  comments and suggestions  based on last week’s progress, so my main task was to  review, refine, and amend the designs accordingly . The goal was to improve layout consistency, alignment, and overall visual clarity to ensure a more polished and user-friendly interface. Day 41: Brainstorming and Braincracking

  🗓️  Date:  29 Nov  2025 📌 Title:  Brainstorming and Braincracking Task Description I started the day by discussing the recent Cash ISA meeting outcomes with another IT team member who was on leave, updating him on the latest requirement changes. Following that, I brainstormed together with him and my SV on the new flow for Cash ISA Transfer-In, now that partial transfers also need to be supported. Initially, I was expecting Joanna to send over the updated flow for this change, but since it hadn’t come through, we decided not to wait and risk delaying the project timeline. Instead, we proactively moved forward by coming up with a proposed new flow ourselves. Given the uncertainty, we chose to create a wireframe in FigJam rather than jumping straight into high-fidelity mockups, as we wanted to avoid double work if changes were still needed.
