📌 Title: Polishing the Details

Task Description

Today, I worked on designing a campaign for a 1% cashback promotion with the title “Make MCCA Your Main Account”. The campaign aims to encourage users to set their MCCA account as their main salary account in order to receive 1% cashback. I designed a campaign banner to act as the main entry point, ensuring it was eye-catching and clearly communicated the campaign message.

In addition, I designed a progress circle feature that allows users to track their progress toward fulfilling the campaign requirements. This visual indicator helps users easily understand how close they are to completing the steps needed to qualify for the cashback.

Challenges & Solutions

One challenge was figuring out how to create a progress circle with a gradient effect. I wasn’t sure how to implement it, so I looked up tutorials online and also asked my supervisor for guidance. He helped by creating a GIF using LottieLab, which I could then integrate into my design.

Key Learnings & Skills Gained

I learned how to incorporate interactive visual elements, like progress indicators, into campaign designs. This task also taught me how to seek help effectively and combine online resources with guidance from seniors to solve technical challenges.

Reflection & Next Steps

Day 9 was both creative and technical. Moving forward, I plan to refine the campaign visuals and ensure the user flow is intuitive while keeping the design visually engaging.

Day 6: Monday Chaos!

🗓️  Date:  13  Oct 2025 📌 Title:  Monday Chaos! Task Description In my second week of internship, I continued working on the  Fixed Deposit (FD)  and  Notice Deposit (ND)  UI enhancement project. My supervisor had provided several  comments and suggestions  based on last week’s progress, so my main task was to  review, refine, and amend the designs accordingly . The goal was to improve layout consistency, alignment, and overall visual clarity to ensure a more polished and user-friendly interface. Day 41: Brainstorming and Braincracking

  🗓️  Date:  29 Nov  2025 📌 Title:  Brainstorming and Braincracking Task Description I started the day by discussing the recent Cash ISA meeting outcomes with another IT team member who was on leave, updating him on the latest requirement changes. Following that, I brainstormed together with him and my SV on the new flow for Cash ISA Transfer-In, now that partial transfers also need to be supported. Initially, I was expecting Joanna to send over the updated flow for this change, but since it hadn’t come through, we decided not to wait and risk delaying the project timeline. Instead, we proactively moved forward by coming up with a proposed new flow ourselves. Given the uncertainty, we chose to create a wireframe in FigJam rather than jumping straight into high-fidelity mockups, as we wanted to avoid double work if changes were still needed.
